Step 4 – The Post Construction Orientation

The Post Construction Orientation is often the most important step for us and our customers.  This orientation allows SCS to ensure that the customers are completely satisfied with the work that has been done on their home.  It also allows us to teach the customers how to use their new homes. 

 Energy Remodels

Many of the money saving and energy efficient features SCS will install in your home will not work properly unless you know how to use these new features.  During the Post Construction Orientation SCS will review each service and feature completed on you home and show you how to use them.  We will also give you a guide that will include all the information we cover on the orientation as well as other simple energy saving tips and tricks for you to practice.  Once the orientation is complete you are ready to start living in your new home.  Two to three weeks after the completion of the project you will be contacted by SCS to set up a One Month Check-Up.

Renovations and Additions

Upon completion of a renovation or addition SCS will conduct an orientation to demonstrate the new products and features of the renovation or addition.  The SCS representative will also give you tips on how to care for your new space.  These tips will include such information as the best way to clean the different surfaces and how often different features need to be maintained or serviced.  All this information will also be available to you in a personalized guide SCS will develop, including the products and features included in your new renovation or addition.  Following the Post Construction Orientation a SCS representative will contact you regarding the One Month Check-Up.
